Example 1: Describe a Television

A television is an electronic device we use to watch shows and movies. It has a flat, rectangular screen that displays moving pictures in bright colors. The screen can be small like a book or large like a table. Below or behind the screen is a box containing speakers that produce sound. We control it using a remote control or buttons. When turned on, the screen glows and shows us news, cartoons, sports, and other programs. Modern televisions are thin and can hang on walls like picture frames.

Example 2: Describe Jallikattu

Jallikattu is a traditional bull-taming sport celebrated in Tamil Nadu during the Pongal festival. In this event, a strong bull is released into an open ground filled with people. Young men try to hold onto the bull's hump for a certain distance or time while the bull runs and tries to throw them off. The atmosphere is exciting with loud cheers from crowds. Drums beat loudly, and people shout encouragement. The bulls are decorated and well-fed. It requires great courage and strength. This ancient sport shows the bravery of Tamil culture and the relationship between people and animals.

Clear blue lakes like Dal Lake reflect the sky like mirrors. Colorful houseboats float peacefully on the water. In spring, gardens bloom with tulips and roses of every color.
